Lupin gets new Pharmaceutical Research Head

Lupin Ltd has announced that in it’s intent to continually attract the best talent globally, the Company on November 13, 2007 announced the appointment of Ninad Deshpanday as President - Pharmaceutical Research and Development.

Ninad joins the Company from AAIPharma, USA and has worked in the past at companies like Synta, Cardinal Health, TheraTech and Procter & Gamble.

The stock was trading at Rs.559.05, up by Rs.12.15 or 2.22%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.572.15 and low of Rs.552.

The total traded quantity was 23367 compared to 2 week average of 23941.
