IDFC Limited nominates new Director in IDFC Bank

Mr. Vikram Limaye, Nominee Director representing IDFC Limited has stepped down from the Board of IDFC Bank w.e.f. 15.07.2017 consequent to his appointment as the MD & CEO of NSE.

IDFC Limited has nominated Mr. Sunil Kakar (DIN: 03055561), its new MD & CEO on the Board of IDFC Bank in place of Mr. Vikram Limaye w.e.f. 16.07.2017. In view of the same, Mr. Sunil Kakar has resigned as the CFO and KMP of IDFC Bank w.e.f. 15.07.2017.

The Board of the Bank, at its meeting held today approved the resignation of Mr. Sunil Kakar as the CFO and KMP of the Bank w.e.f. 15.07.2017 and resignation of Mr. Vikram Limaye as a Nominee Director representing IDFC Limited from the Board of the Bank w.e.f. 15.07.2017.

The Board also approved the appointment of Mr. Sunil Kakar as a Nominee Director representing IDFC Limited on the Board of the Bank w.e.f. 16.07.2017.

The Board places on record its sincere appreciation to Mr.Limaye and Mr.Kakar for their outstanding contribution to the Bank.

Shares of IDFC LIMITED was last trading in BSE at Rs.55.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 55.1. The total number of shares traded during the day was 650161 in over 1903 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 56.5 and intraday low of 54.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 35696544.
