Jaiprakash Associates Q2 net profit at Rs 104 Crore

Jaiprakash Associates Ltd has announced the unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 1040 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 900 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 8080 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 to Rs 9220 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1276.65, up by Rs.19.10 or 1.52%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1330 and low of Rs.1262.

The total traded quantity was 347497 compared to 2 week average of 346942.
