Karnataka Bank donates Impedance Audiometer

The Karnataka Bank Limited ("Karnataka Bank", "Bank") has been supporting various social initiatives as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, aimed at promoting a more inclusive society.

MD & CEO of the Bank, Shri P Jayarama Bhat inaugurated one such initiative of the Bank at Guild of Service (Seva Samajam) (Regd), located at Pandeshwar, Mangaluru by donating an Impedance Audiometer - an instrument used in detecting hearing defects. This is a corrective institute for the speech and hearing impaired which has been rendering exemplary service since 1974 by offering free treatment to the poor without any bias. Speaking on the occasion Shri P Jayarama Bhat, MD & CEO of the Bank said "The Bank has always been responsive to the needs of the society. We are happy to have contributed to this noble cause and intend to continue to accord high priority towards the betterment of individuals with special needs."

Also present on the occasion were Shri Vijayashankar Rai K.V., Deputy General Manager, Smt. Renuka N Bangera, Assistant General Manager, Shri Srinivas Deshpande, Chief Manager - Public Relations and Smt. Vijayalaxmi Ariga, Chairperson, Smt. Shalini D Rai, Hon. Secretary, Guild of Service, other office bearers and staff of the institute, Dr. A.V. Shetty, well- wishers and beneficiaries.

Shares of KARNATAKA BANK LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.103.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 103.5. The total number of shares traded during the day was 417895 in over 1875 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 104.85 and intraday low of 102.7. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 43535058.
