TCS to announce Q2 results on Oct 15, 2007

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 15, 2007 to take on record the audited financial results of the Company for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2007 (Q2) and to consider declaration of a Second Interim dividend to the shareholders.

Further the Company has informed that, October 23, 2007 has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of payment of Second Interim Dividend, if declared.

The stock was trading at Rs.1077.10, up by Rs.38.55 or 3.71%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1095 and low of Rs.1049.

The total traded quantity was 430713 compared to 2 week average of 404217.
