Sri Nachammai Cotton declares partial lock-out

Sri Nachammai Cotton Mills Ltd has announced that in consequence to the stay in strike by a few of the Company's spinning-workers in its 'A' unit with effect from September 23, 2007 by 3.00 p.m., the management had no option except declaring partial lockout only for those workers, in the spinning department of its 'A' unit. The Company shall intimate the date of resumption of work once the partial lockout is lifted. The spinning department in its 'A' unit is running to 80% capacity and day by day it is improving. The Company's other units 'B' and Veeranam are running to full capacity.
