Sterlite Optical Technologies Ltd has announced that the Company acquired 58.70% holding in equity share capital of Sterlite Infrastructure Pvt Ltd (SIPL). With this investment SIPL has become subsidiary of the Company.

SIPL has been incorporated with the object to carry on business pertaining to infrastructure projects and telecommunications.

The stock was trading at Rs.241.80, up by Rs.4.70 or 1.98%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.247 and low of Rs.239.05.

The total traded quantity was 172361 compared to 2 week average of 166584.
