Info Edge clarifies on stake sale news

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading Web Portal regarding the management and promoters of Info Edge are open to a sale of the Company, , Info Edge India Ltd has clarified that there are no plans, interest, or intent to sell the Company or even to divest a stake.

Also, there are no discussions of this nature underway with any parties. The promoters and management believe that it is in the best interest of shareholders that the Company stays independent and they would like to build a world class, world scale business out of India.

The Stock closed the day at Rs.1070.65, down by Rs.90.40 or 7.79%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1195.20 and low of Rs.1060.05. The total traded quantity was 140117 compared to 2 week average of 68214.
