Swan Mills to change name as SWAN Industries Ltd

Swan Mills Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 16, 2007, inter alia, has proposed to change the company's name from "SWAN MILLS LTD" to "SWAN INDUSTRIES LTD" or any other name as may be approved subject to approval of members and all other applicable authorities.

The stock closed the day at Rs.90.45, down by Rs.1.50 or 1.63%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.95.10 and low of Rs.89. The total traded quantity was 46325 compared to 2 week average of 42235.
