English Indian enters into agreements with WCPL

English Indian Clays Ltd has announced that the Company has entered into Agreements with Wolkem Clay Pvt. Ltd. (WCPL), Kollam and Wolkem Industries Ltd. (WIL), Udaipur on September 03, 2007 towards purchase of the assets of WCPL & WIL respectively which was approved by the Committee of Directors in their meeting held on September 03, 2007. The proposed purchase would be advantageous to the existing activities of the Company.

The stock was trading at Rs.555.10, down by Rs.12.95 or 2.28%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.580 and low of Rs.555.10. The total traded quantity was 2 compared to 2 week average of 309.
