Usha Martin's Mini Blast Furnace expected to be operational from September first week

With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 09, 2007 regarding the shut down of the Mini Blast Furnace (MBF) at the Company's Steel Plant in Jamshedpur, Usha Martin Ltd has announced that the MBF is expected to be operational by the first week of September, 2007.

The Stock closed the day at Rs.228.60, down by Rs.1.65 or 0.72%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.235.05 and low of Rs.228. The total traded quantity was 2911 compared to 2 week average of 21515.
