Hon'ble High Court of Bombay & Madras approves Merger of CRISIL

CRISIL Ltd has announced that the Hon'ble High Courts of Bombay and Madras have approved the merger of CRISIL Research and Information Services Ltd, CRISIL Properties Ltd, Global Data Services of India Ltd and Irevna Research Services Ltd (all wholly owned subsidiary Companies of the Company) with the Company. In compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956, the copies of order passed by the Bombay High Court has been submitted to the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra on August 24, 2007.

In view of the above, the merger of the above named wholly owned subsidiary Companies of the Company with the Company become effective from August 24, 2007.

The Stock closed the day at Rs.3617, up by Rs.16.90 or 0.47%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.3625 and low of Rs.3575.50. The total traded quantity was 124 compared to 2 week average of 2383.
