Cambridge Solutions on August 23, 2007 has announced the expansion of its Indian operations with the setting up of a new SAP facility in Pune. The facility which will augment the work being done by Cambridge Solutions in Bangalore and Chennai, will employ 100 skilled resources with plans to grow up significantly in the coming years.
"The Pune Centre will further strengthen our global delivery model and add greater value to our customers," said Kumar Sivararnan, Chief Operating Officer, ITO Division, of the Company. The Centre will meet requirements of the manufacturing & logistics and emerging markets.
The initial focus of the Development Centre operating under the name of Nexplicit Infotech (a Cambridge Solutions Company) will be on offshore ITO clients and would extend to BPO clients as the business evolves. The centre will offer implementation of packaged applications comprising of PLM, SAP and Lotus Notes. These services wilt include development, customization, maintenance and 24x7 support.
