Reliance zooms ahead, Sensex misses 12k by a whisker

The BSE Sensex missed 12000 by a whisker with the index touching a high of 11999.4. BSE Sensex opened the day at 11941.49 and went to hit a high of 11999.4. The day´s low was 11866.21 and currently trading at 11979.78.

Reliance Industries was the major gainer with the stock hitting a new high of Rs.978.8 in NSE and Rs.978 in BSE. The stock was up by more than 5.5% at 2:00 PM. The volumes of Reliance in NSE was more than 7.9 million and in BSE more than 2.98 million shares were traded.
