              The three-day long celebration of luxury, grandeur and style, The Luxury Festival concluded on Sunday evening and was taking place in the capital from April 1, 2016 to April 3, 2016. It served as a unique platform for luxury brands to connect with its prospective buyers, the festival achieved its endeavor to propel the Indian luxury market on the path of greater growth.
The inaugural day began with a networking evening which was attended by veteran politician from Jammu & Kashmir Mr Farooq Abdullah as the chief Guest.
Around 70 well known and boutique brands from categories like luxury cars, fashion, technology & gadgets, travel and tourism exhibited their exclusive products and services to 'by-invitation' guests, including corporates, bureaucrats, artists, socialites, politicians and other high-end worth individuals.
Amongst those present to grace the festival and participate included artist Nin Dusanj, Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani, architect Seetu Kohli, beauty expert Shahnaz Husain, fashion designer Archana Kochhar, lifestyle consultant Shalini Kochhar and designer Jaya Misra.
One of the key highlights of the three day event was the Smile Foundation auction that took place on Saturday with a healthy participation.
The products and experiences that went under the hammer were, limited edition pen from Montegrappa, Shoes by John Lobb, Kids Room Décor by Fly Frog Kids, a Jewel Trunk by Trunks Company Jaipur, Milagrow Black Cat 3.0 Robot, Luxury Travel Bag by V. Renaissance, pair of luxury pillows by Hastens and a signed T-shirt by Jackie Chan. The wide range of exclusive products and experiences raised money which will be used towards the girl child education as Smile Foundation has supported more than 20,000 children in 2015.
