Announcing its entry into the e-tailing space, Sahaj has launched an online shopping portal SahajShopping.com in partnership with Infibeam. In an age where e-Commerce is the buzzword and pins to pendants are being purchased online, Sahaj brings in convenience & a choice of products at the doorstep of the rural citizens.
With a few clicks, a rural citizen will be able to order and purchase from scores of categories listed on the portal, at their nearby Sahaj Common Service Center. From mobiles to watches to books to music, the rural citizen will have them all. This would bring a whole new convenient & exciting shopping experience for rural consumers.
The size of the e-commerce market (which encapsulates all financial transactions conducted on the Internet) in India for 2012 is estimated to be USD 10 billion and projected to grow at a CAGR of 45% to reach USD 200 billion by 2020..
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Umesh Rao, National Head - Sales & Marketing, Sahaj said, "We continue to offer value & convenience to the rural citizens.
