Corporation Bank Raises Tier - II Capital

With reference to the earlier announcement dated February 20, 2006, wherein the Bank had informed that the Board of Directors at its meeting has approved to Issue Tier - II Capital Bonds up to Rs 500 crore in one or more tranches. Accordingly the Bank had issued and raised Tier - II Capital Bonds for Rs 300 crore on March 24, 2006, Corporation Bank has announced that the Bank proposes to Issue the second tranche of the Tier - II Bonds for Rs 200 crore at an appropriate time.
