Emco equity shareholders approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Emco Ltd has announced that the equity shareholders of the Company at their Court Convened Meeting held on August 18, 2007, have approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Urja Engineers (UEL) and India Energy Investments Pvt Ltd (IEIPL) with the Company and their respective shareholders, with requisite majority.

The stock was trading at Rs.952, up by Rs.8.95 or 0.95%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.963.75 and low of Rs.925.50. The total traded quantity was 1667 compared to 2 week average of 8681.
