Walchandnagar Industries clarifies on news items

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily regarding "Considerable revenue through sale of real estate property in Mumbai has been driving up the stock of Walchandnagar Industries Ltd", Walchandnagar Industries Ltd has clarified that the Company has not in the recent past sold any of its real estate property.

Further, With reference to the another news item appearing in a leading financial daily regarding "Company has significant land assets in Mumbai which it plans to sell", Walchandnagar Industries Ltd has clarified that the Company does not have land assets in Mumbai.

The stock closed the day at Rs.2899.60, up by Rs.138.05 or 5%. The total traded quantity was 14350 compared to 2 week average of 25459. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.2899.60 and low of Rs.2825.
