SPL Polymers Board approves merger with Supreme Petrochem

SPL Polymers Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 09, 2007, inter alia, has approved in principle, the merger of the Company with the Holding Company viz, Supreme Petrochem Ltd and to appoint valuers for valuation of the shares to determine the share exchange ratio.

The stock closed the day at Rs.6.55, up by Rs.0.01 or 0.15%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.7.19 and low of Rs.5.91. The total traded quantity was 30076 compared to 2 week average of 9610.
