IndiGo expands its Middle East footprint with new Bengaluru-Riyadh direct flights, starting 16 November 2025 
              The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, chaired a meeting to review issues pertaining to availability of funds for fertilizer subsidy. The Prime Minister directed the Union Finance Ministry and Fertilizer Ministry to ensure that adequate funds are available to meet the disbursal requirements for fertilizer subsidy.
The Prime Minister said that while the existing subsidy system may have to be reviewed in the future, the Government was committed to the present system and will ensure that adequate funds are available to meet the requirements this year. The Prime Minister's Office will resolve matters in this regard.
The meeting was attended by Agriculture Minister, Shri Sharad Pawar, Finance Minister, Shri P. Chidambaram, Fertilizer Minister, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan and Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Shri T.K.A.Nair.
