Abhishek Mills commences production of expanded capacity

Abhishek Mills Ltd has announced that the Company has installed three compact spinning machines with capacity of 1008 spindles per machine and commercial production is started from August 09, 2007. With this the production capacity of the Company has been increased from 33120 spindles to 36144 spindles (addition of 3024 spindles). The compact spinning machines are specialized for production of counts with fine premium quality and other value added features for better quality of yarn.

The stock was trading at Rs.40.10, up by Rs.0.30 or 0.75%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.41.85 and low of Rs.40. The total traded quantity was 12237 compared to 2 week average of 18234.
