Punjab National Bank Q1 net at Rs.425.07 Crores

Punjab National Bank has announced the following Un-Audited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 4250.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 3675.20 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 29232.00 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 37951.20 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.13.48 for the Quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.11.66 for Quarter ending June 30, 2006.

The stock closed the day at Rs.552.70, down by Rs.10.75 or 1.91%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.571 and low of Rs.545. The total traded quantity was 287926 compared to 2 week average of 204739.
