1,259 Mumbai students advance to 2nd Stage of 'India's Best Student Contest'

Amongst the wide participation of over 2 lakh students, Rao IIT coaching classes has shortlisted 10,110 students who shall be competing for the coveted title of "India's Best Student". 1,259 students from Mumbai have advanced after preliminary rounds of selection. This competition was conducted Pan India on 15th& 16th of August, 2015.

Rao IIT coaching classes has organised its Best Student Contest - third edition in talent hunt series. The 2nd Stage will be conducted by 23rd of August, which will have Test 1 for Science and Mathematics and Test 2 for Logical Reasoning & Mental Ability. 100 best students will be shortlisted from these examinations. Among the top 30 students will be selected for further subjective test and personal interview to be conducted by eminent personalities from the fields of Science and Technology.

Mr. Vinay Kumar, CEO and MD Rao IIT Academy said, "We feel honoured that students across India have participated so enthusiastically. We had a tough time shortlisting these 10,000 students and still there are miles to go to hunt for the Best Student."

The final ranks will be announced in September 2015 and the winners will be felicitated with prize money. 1st ranker will be felicitated with Rs.10 lacs, 2nd Ranker with Rs. 8 lacs and 3rd Ranker with Rs. 7 lacs respectively. Likewise, top 5 schools who will contribute the maximum talent to this contest will be felicitated with Rs 1 lac each.
