GVK Power acquires shares in GVK Infratech Pvt Ltd

GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd has announced that the Company has acquired 9,900 equity shares of Rs 10 each, for Cash at Par, aggregating to Rs 99,000/- in GVK Infratech Pvt Ltd on July 05, 2007.

As a result of this acquisition of shares, GVK Infratech Pvt Ltd has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company with effect from July 05, 2007.

GVK Infratech Pvt Ltd is a Company incorporated on December 04, 2006 and is engaged in the business of setting up SEZs amongst other infrastructure facilities.

The stock was trading at Rs.489, up by Rs.7.15 or 1.48%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.492 and low of Rs.477. The total traded quantity was 8810 compared to 2 week average of 85789.
