Crossword Bookstore India's leading book retailer has announced its newest offering to its loyal customers and budding writers. Crossword launched two big additions to its service portfolio - 'The Crossword Gift Card' for its loyal customers and a publishing initiative, which will offer burgeoning, authors an opportunity and a platform to showcase their work. Bestselling Authors Ashwin Sanghi, Ravi Subramanian and columnist & Lit Live curator Anil Dharker launched the card at their Kemps Corner outlet in Mumbai.
Crossword is the first book retailer in India to launch such a unique program to promote literature. The program will comprise of a dedicated team which will assist an author to publish and promote their book through Crosswords huge network.
The Crossword Gift Card will work as a simple, easy and a convenient way to shop at Crossword's outlets across India. Crossword now becomes a one stop gifting destination offering various gifting solutions to consumers that can be redeemed across all stores.

As part of the publishing program Crossword announced a Recipe contest by Nita Mehta to the general public, inviting budding cooks and food enthusiasts with an opportunity to be published. Fans are invited to submit their favorite Vegetarian & Non-vegetarian recipes, 20 lucky winners recipes will be published in two books 'Vegetarian Dishes (Indian /Continental) and Non Vegetarian Dishes (Indian/Continental). Entries will be accepted from 12th September to 15th October, 2014.
