DB Schenker in India wins Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence Award 2013

DB Schenker in India has received prestigious Supply Chain And Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Award 2013 in the freight forwarding category. The award was organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) through its Institute of Logistics and conferred to DB Schenker at a function in Mumbai last week.

The recognition of SCALE Awards 2013 encompasses the excellence amongst logistics service providers and supply chain aspect of user industry. The user industry stakeholders includes from automotive, engineering, consumer, retail and pharmaceutical industries.

In all 203 companies had participated in 14 award categories from user & logistics segment. DB Schenker in India was recognized for "National Award for Supply Chain & Logistics Excellence" – Top Freight Forwarder of India". The award once again emphasizes DB Schenker's leading position in India for providing international freight solutions and its ability to cater to any destination across the world.
