Container Corporation of India Q4 PAT up at Rs. 246.03 crores

Container Corporation of India Ltd has announced the financial results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2014.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 2460.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 as compared to Rs. 2258.40 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2013. Total Income has increased from Rs. 13215.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 to Rs. 14112.50 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 9847.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2014 as compared to Rs. 9400.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2013. Total Income has increased from Rs. 47433.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2013 to Rs. 53562.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2014.

The Group has posted consolidated net profit after minority interest for the period of Rs. 9498.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2014 as compared to Rs. 9306.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2013. Total Income has increased from Rs. 47775.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2013 to Rs. 54784.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2014.

Shares of CONTAINER CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1163.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1168.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1739 in over 344 trades.
