Jyothy Labs MD denies VC Investment

Jyothy Laboratories Ltd has clarified with reference to the news item appearing in certain section of media on January 23, 2014 mentioning "Jyothy Labs' Jt MD plans VC investments". Mr. Ullas Kamath, Joint Managing Director of the Company had sent an intimation to the Executive Editor of Business Standard, Mumbai. In this letter, Mr. Kamath has clearly stated that the captioned news item is completely baseless and untrue.

Shares of Jyothy Laboratories was last trading in BSE at Rs.193.45, down by Rs.4.75 or 2.40%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.199.25 and intraday low of Rs.191.75.

The total traded quantity was 0.12 lakh shares as compared to 2 week average of 0.13 lakh shares.
