JSW Energy Q2 consolidated net drops to Rs. 162.59 crore

JSW Energy Ltd has announced the financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 753.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 as compared to Rs. 3048.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2012. Total Income has decreased from Rs. 15747.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 to Rs. 12899.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.

The Group has posted consolidated net profit after taxes, minority interest and Share of Profit of Associates of Rs. 1625.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 as compared to Rs. 2540.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2012. Total Income has decreased from Rs. 21218.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 to Rs. 20795.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.

Shares of JSW Energy was last trading in BSE at Rs.46.20, down by Rs.1.25 or 2.63%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.47.75 and low of Rs.45.40.

The total traded quantity was 2.07 lakhs as compared to 2 week average of 2.99 lakhs.
