BIFR sanctions merger of BHPV with BHEL

The Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) vide order dated August 29, 2013 sanctioned the Modified Draft Rehabilitation Scheme envisaging merger of Bharat Heavy Plate and Vessels Limited (BHPV) with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).

Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.120.80, up by Rs.2.05 or 1.73%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.121.90 and low of Rs.118.65.

The total traded quantity was 7.30 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 19.16 lakhs.
