Cheslind Textiles Updates on Open Offer by RSWM Ltd

ICICI Securities Primary Dealership Ltd ("Manager to the Offer") on behalf of RSWM Ltd ("Acquirer") has issued this the Public Announcement to the shareholders of Cheslind Textiles Ltd ("Target Company"), which is in continuation of and should be read in conjunction with the Public Announcement ("PA") dated March 22, 2007, in compliance with Regulation 10 and Regulation 12, and other applicable provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 1997 and subsequent amendments thereto ("SEBI (SAST)" Regulations ). The shareholders of the Target Company are requested to note the following:

1. The Schedule of Activity set forth in the public announcement dated March 22, 2007 is delayed and a revised schedule of Activity will be announced separately.

2. All other terms and conditions of the open offer as set forth in the public announcement dated March 22, 2007 remains unchanged. Any change in the terms and conditions will also be announced separately.
