The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 19134.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 15288.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 209425.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 277804.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
The consolidated results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Group has posted a profit for the period of Rs 6498.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 5226.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Tata Motors Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 18, 2007, inter alia, has recommended a dividend of 150% (Rs.13 per share for FY 05-06) on 38,53,81,536 ordinary shares and any further shares that may be allotted by the Company on conversion of notes before book closure.
