Century Plyboards to merge companies manufacturing plywood products

Century Plyboards India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 16, 2007, inter alia, has decided to go for merger of the following Companies engaged in manufacture of plywood products

1. Century Panels Pvt Ltd

2. Sharon Veneers Pvt Ltd

3. Sharon Wood Industries Pvt Ltd

Further the Company has informed that, the Company had paid Interim Dividend @ Rs 2.50 per share aggregating to Rs 494.14 lacs (excluding dividend distribution tax). The said Interim Dividend is treated as Final Dividend.
