Hindustan Lever announces changes in its Management Committee

Hindustan Lever Ltd has announced the proposed changes in the management Committee of the Company with effect from June 01, 2007.

Mr. Sanjay Dube, currently Executive Director - Sales and Customer Development of the Company, has been appointed Chairman, Poland and Baltics, Unilever, from June 01, 2007.

Mr. Sanjiv Kakkar, currently Executive Director - Marketing & Strategy - Foods, of the Company has been appointed as Executive Director - Sales and Customer Development in place of Mr. Dube and Mr. Shrijeet Mishra, currently VP Activation - Asia AMET, Unilever, based in Singapore, has been appointment as Executive Director - Foods in place of Mr. Kakkar and will be joining the Management Committee.

Mr. Ashok Gupta, currently Vice President, Legal, has been appointed Executive Director - Legal, and will replace Mr. MK Sharma in the Management Committee who will be retiring on May 31, 2007. Ms. Leena Nair, currently Vice President, HR, has been appointed Executive Director, HR and will be joining the Management Committee.

The appointments are effective from June 01, 2007. Mr. Sanjiv Kakkar is already a member of the Management Committee from January 01, 2007.
