Tuticorin Alkali's plant shutdown for non-availability of raw material

Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd has announced that the Company's Plant, which was scheduled to resume operations during the first week of May 2007 after completion of normal annual maintenance jobs, has not resumed operations due to non-availability of one of the raw materials.

The stock closed the day at Rs.18.15, up by Rs.0.20 or 1.11%. The total traded quantity was 8105 compared to 2 week average of 19621. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.18.50 and low of Rs.18.
