Fire in Riddhi Siddhi Gokak unit

Riddhi Siddhi Gluco Biols Ltd has announced that the fire occurred in the starch drier section at the Gokak unit at 9.00 pm on May 04, 2007. Immediate cause is not known and the same is under investigation.

All other facilities (derivatives and utilities sections etc.) are unaffected. At present production in the factory is suspended but the Company expect to resume production facilities within 2-3 days.
