GMDC Q4 profit after tax at Rs.49.6586 crores

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd (GMDC) has announced the Unaudited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 496.586 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 258.483 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 1932.537 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 1932.611 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 1052.550 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 352.533 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 5181.089 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 6093.181 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The figures for the year ended March 31, 2006 are Audited.

The stock closed the day at Rs.530, down by Rs.2.75 or 0.52%. The total traded quantity was 2480 compared to 2 week average of 3261. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.545 and low of Rs.525.
