Bharat Electronics Q4 net profit at Rs.357.12 Crores

Bharat Electronics Ltd has announced the Unaudited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 3571.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 2809.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 15892.40 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 17916.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 7138.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 5830.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 36154.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 40816.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The consolidated results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 7245.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 5984.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 37728.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 42401.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
