Ramnik Parekh practiced family medicine for 20 years followed by Occupational Medicine as the chief medical advisor for 7 Unilever companies in India. He pioneered Healthcare services management concept by founding a joint venture company with British indurance giant Sedgwick plc in 1986, which then was acquired by United Healthcare of USA.
After his retirement he trained in graphic design in 2003, in digital film making at New York Film Academy in 2007 and self-trained in digital photography over a long period of time during his frequent extensive global travels.
He displayed for the first time his work in a solo exhibition in Museum Art Gallery in Mumbai in 2009. In words of Girish Mistry, India's leading photographer "Dr. Ramnik Parekh-who calls himself a 'non-photographer' is gifted with a magic eye for excellent images". He also has a fascination with Black & White pictures.
Jyoti Parekh too has traveled extensively exploring the beauty of the paradise called earth! Her new Avatar from medicine to photography is in the process of metamorphosis and appears to be incredibly promising.
