Holland Tunnel and the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel will be closing today at 2 PM

A notification has been issued stating that the Holland Tunnel and the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel will be closing today at 2 PM.

There is no estimated time has been mentioned for reopening.

All pre-cautionary steps have been taken in anticipation of Sandy storm expected to hit the East coast of USA in the afternoon. Several offices have declared holiday and many of the employees have logged in from home. The stock exchanges have also been shut for the day.
