Eveready Industries Uttaranchal plant Commences Commercial Production

Eveready Industries India Ltd has announced that the commencement of commercial production, at the battery manufacturing unit at Uttaranchal, effective April 02, 2007.

Shares of the company were trading down by Re.0.25 or 0.40% at Rs.61.90 on volume of 6456 shares at a weighted average price of Rs.63.10. The 2 week average quantity is 335904 shares.

The easing of lead prices also augurs well for the company as the input costs should reduce considerably.
