Navin Fluorine Updates on CDM Project

Navin Fluorine International Ltd has announced that the Company had initiated its Clean Development Mechanism Project to reduce green house gas emissions by over 2 million tonnes of CO2 (e) per annum by introducing abatement technology provided by Ineos Fluor Ltd, U.K. After undergoing the process of approval of Government of India and the validation of the Project Design Document (PDD) by DNV, the designated operating entity, the PDD was submitted to the CDM Executive Board for their approval.

Further the Company has informed that, the CDM Project of the Company has been registered on March 30, 2007 (Project no. 0838) by the CDM Executive Board of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), for generating 2.8 million tonnes of CO2 (e) per annum.

Shares of the company closed at Rs.318.45, down by Re.0.85 or 0.27% on volume of 108196 shares compared to 2 week average quantity of 9576 shares.
