Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd on April 02, 2007 has announced that the name of its subsidiary in Finland would be changed from Botnia Hightech Oy to Sasken Finland Oy effective from April 02, 2007.
The Company had completed the process of acquiring Botnia Hightech Oy, Finland on August 31, 2006. The alignment of Botnia Hightech Oy and the Company has been progressing as per plan since September 01, 2006. Sasken Finland Oy also includes subsidiaries Botnia Hardware Oy and lonific Oy, which are being merged with Botnia Hightech Oy.
Commenting on the alignment, Rajiv Mody, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, states: "The alignment enables both parties to exploit the synergies between the two teams and helps extend offering portfolio and customer base. It also offers benefits for both Sasken Finland and global Sasken, as we can together leverage the best practices in individual sites and apply them globally. Synergies would also result from integration of support systems like IT, finance accounting. One of the most visible signs of alignment at this phase will he the branding alignment."
He adds, "With a unified Company name and marketing messages, all the benefits and positive brand associations of separate business units can be grouped under one name, Sasken, to our synergies to our everyday business."
