SSI Ltd has announced that Kalpathi Properties, the real estate arm of the Company, has announced that it has tied up with city based Bala Vidya Mandir, Gandhinagar, Adayar one of the leading schools in Chennai, to set up a primary and high school in the 5000 apartment Township that is coming up on the erstwhile Binny Mills property in Perambur, North Madras.
A MOU was signed between Kalpathi Properties and Bala Vidya Mandir.
Kalpathi Properties will provide the land and the necessary infrastructure for the commencement of (School) operations on a nominal long term lease.

The idea of the Kalpathi Properties’ Perambur township, with a build out of over 8 million Sq. Ft is to encourage the concept of living together in a community - ´the concept of extended family´. The Sale of Phase 1 comprising of 500 apartments is expected to commence shortly.
