Nipuna receives ISO 27001 Certification for four Centres

Nipuna has been awarded the ISO 27001 certification for its delivery centers in Hyderabad (Cyber Gateway, Cyber Pearl I & II) and Bangalore. This internationally recognized information security certification provides an ISMS model for adequate security controls to protect information assets.

ISO 27001 standards provide the best practice guidance on protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information. ISO 27001 is a revised and enhanced version of BS 7799 standard. This certification also covers the control objectives of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act, USA). The achievement of this certification shows Nipuna’s commitment towards effective implementation of information security across the organization. Nipuna has been working towards the certification process since September 2006.

Coming in the wake of other renowned global certifications, awards and rankings that we have received - ranging from our quality excellence to maturity in business verticals - the ISO 27001 certification provides us yet another stamp of authority for our offerings.

The certificate was handed over to Mr. Venkatesh Roddam, CEO, by Mr. Venkataram Arabolu, Managing Director BSI, at a ceremony held at Nipuna’s office in Cyber Pearl, Hitec City on March 9, 2007.
