Genus Power Infrastructures allots 7000000 Equity Shares

The Board of Directors of Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd at its meeting held on July 15, 2011, has allotted 70,00,000 equity shares of Re.1/- (Rupee One Only) each at a premium of Rs.18/- (Rupees Eighteen Only) per share (i.e. conversion at the rate of Rs.19/- (Rupees Nineteen Only) per share), upon conversion of 70,00,000 convertible warrants.

The aforesaid equity shares shall rank pari passu in all respect (including dividend) with the existing equity shares of the Company.

Consequent upon the aforesaid allotment of equity shares, the paid-up equity share capital of the Company stands increased to 158906820 fully paid-up equity shares of Re.1/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.17.80, down by Rs.0.20 or 1.11%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.18.10 and low of Rs.17.75.

The total traded quantity was 0.29 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.22 lakhs.
