Tata Steel subsidiary acquires 7,136,094 shares of Corus Group Plc, UK

Tata Steel Ltd has announced that Tata Steel UK Ltd, indirect wholly owned subsidiary of the Company has acquired 7,136,094 of equity share capital of Corus Group Plc, UK at 601.75 pence per share on February 14, 2007.

With the above purchase, Tata Steel UK holds 207,092,046 (21.9%) equity share capital of Corus Group Plc, UK.
