Aptech Learning Services receives 'APEX 2010- Award for Excellence'

Mumbai: Aptech Learning Services, the learning content development arm of Aptech Limited, a global leader in learning solutions has won the prestigious "APEX 2010- Award for Excellence" in the Education & training and Green categories for its projects: LTS 3000 HSE Induction Program (Work done for L&T - SapuraCrest) and Let's Share our Planet (Created for an NGO along with Arena Animation).

APEX 2010, the 22nd Annual Awards for Publication Excellence, is an international annual competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines, electronic and video publication to annual reports, brochures and Web sites.

On receiving this recognition, Mr. Ninad Karpe, CEO & MD, Aptech Ltd. said, "It gives us immense pleasure to receive the APEX Award of Excellence, especially since this recognizes the spirit of innovativeness which Aptech has always nurtured. According to the APEX 2010 judges, "The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communications effectiveness."

Aptech was given accolade for participation in Electronics & Video Publications – Education & Training category, where it showcased its simulated induction movie titled 'LTS 3000 HSE Induction Programme' which was designed and developed for L&T-SapuraCrest, a joint venture between Larsen &Toubro and SapuraCrest Petroleum. The movie was designed to address the importance of health, safety and environment while working onboard.

Another entry submitted by Aptech titled, Let's Share Our Planet, developed for a Leading NGO along with ARENA Multimedia, is a short poignant 3D movie on the emotional engulf of humans and seals which ask people to refrain from seal hunting.

With close to 3711 entries the competition was exceptionally intense and a total of 100 Apex Grand Awards were presented in 11 major categories to honor the outstanding works in those categories.
