Ispat Industries back in black, net profit at Rs.17.52 Crores

Ispat Industries Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 175.20 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to net loss Rs 2170.30 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 12766.50 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 18652.60 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
